2018

This is part two of the Golden Globes….Black edition. Where 98% percent of all the attendees are in black! In support of the Times up movement. I think it’s wonderful when an industry solidly supports a truly important cause. In my opinion there were many hits as well as several misses this year and you really get to see it more as it literally only in Black. It’s wonderful to see how this look is interpreted and viewed. Now bring out the popcorn and let the judging continue.

Jessica Biel in Dior NICE! This is a wonderful elegant choice! I love the nude, blush under the black.

Justin Timberlake in Dior another winner!

Kerry Washington - Great shoe choice and the proportions are fresh. I like it!

Lily James - Proves to us that black can be really really awful! This is my worst dress tonight. It’s just wrong!

Margot Robbie in Gucci LOOOVE!!!!! I loved her in I, Tonya and I love love love love this look! It’s a great way to show detail and design.

Heidi Klum - Somehow this does not feel age appropriate. I feel like she is trying too hard?

Naomi Campbell IS A QUEEN!!! Ladies and gents watch an learn! Best dress for me as well!

Nicole Kidman This is an ok look for her. She has done so much better and it’s disappointing when you see someone of her status just looks safe and boring.

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji Always flattering and always beautiful.

Reese Witherspoon - Nailing the minimal and chic look that she establishes! She’s a winner here!

Alison Brie- Sweet! That sliver of pants is fun and feminine! I love this look!

Ava Duvernay in Armani Prive - Elegant and really flattering. I would make my Mom wear this if she went to the Golden Globes.

Carly Steel in Christian Soriano - This proves to you that you can look fat in black. Thumbs down.

Carly Steel in Christian Soriano - This proves to you that you can look fat in black. Thumbs down.

Anna Hendricks - I see at trend! That pants and ball gown ensemble! This is very flattering on her and it’s a good look.

Debra Messing is she wearing pants too? I hope so? It’s a safe look but I would have either made it sleeveless or halter. The cap sleeves make it look matronly and no one likes that.

Eva Longoria - Mother hood glow! I like the lines of the gown and the play of textures is smart.

Gal Gadot in Tom Ford - This look is like a cocktail waitress in a high end casino! I swear I did this look 5 years ago for a hotel client of mine.

Michelle Pfeiffer - This is how I would look if I went to the Golden Globes! She is so chic and stylish. Nailing the black for the ball.

Gwendoline Christie - FABULOUS!!!! This is how black makes an entrance! I mean she must have been stunning life as she’s over 6 feet tall. BRAVO!

Halle Berry - Uhhhm…. Miss Berry….. Your gown shrank! this would have worked more if it was floor length. I mean it’s puzzling?

Saoirse Ronan I am in love with her face! I like her gown but I think she can do better than this 80’s sic-fi schlock.

HUGS,
RAJO!
