The Film and TV awards are upon us and as a great fan and lover of this I am just filled with glee! The SAG awards has always been the in-between “courses” of the Golden Globes and the Oscars. Here the celebrities get a bit more relaxed and perhaps let their guard down a bit and show more of their personalities rather than a shellacked “sure-fire” look that they prepare for the other awards.

I love seeing the looks and give my two cents of what I think is correct and what is a tragedy. So here goes and bring out some popcorn because this is going to be fun.

Mary J. Blige in what looks like a half an angel wing. I think its cool because Ms. Mary can really carry a graphic look like this effortlessly. Its a great risk and she won.

Maya Rudolph in Zac Posen is that a green bow on her head? LOL! This is a travesty! I mean she looks like a SOFA! That is really wrong on any level. She should go home and change as this is really FUGLY!

Natalia Dyer in Dior I love how appropriate this is! She looks delicate sweet and the skirt is really interesting.

Gaten Matarazzo in Kenneth Cole I think this kid is adorable and I like the play on textures. I love it when they look like they are having so much fun.

Margot Robbie in Miu Miu Literally taking cue from her ice skating costume. The placement of the feathers is really odd as this makes one wider on the waist. I mean good thing she’s really skinny otherwise this would have been a huge hot mess.

Noah Schnapp in Stella McCartney I LOVE THIS! Such a smart cool cooky move to be in a deep green velvet tuxedo! BRAVO!

Natalie Zea in Ports 1961 Great material and color but theres something wrong with the fit in the figure. I wish they did not put a waist seam as with out it it would have really looked better.

Olivai Munn in Oscar dela Renta And the sea weed trend from the House of De La Renta continues. I am not a fan of the pattern and this would improve if it was removed.

Saoirse Ronan I don’t know. This one is not doing anything for me. I feel it’s too old looking and meant for an older actress. She is so young to be looking dowdy. We need to sit with her stylist and do an intervention. QUICK!

Sydelle Noel Excellent color choice and great hair! Wrong bodice shape it could be better taken in a few inches so that it doesnt look like it was gapping?

Susan Sarandon in Alberta Ferretti
I see fit issues and it’s annoying me to bits! I mean really?

Taylor Schilling in Diane von Furstenberg OMG! This one look like it came from the sales bin in Nordstrom Rack! The one no one wanted and was like 90% OFF! This is simply tragic!

Tracee Ellis Ross in Ralph & Russo
I love her brave fashion choices and this one is also a winner! I just hate that the fit is bit off and could use a little letting go in the hip area. The concept is great it’s the execution that is wanting.

Vela Lovell in Rubin Singer She looks beautiful! I love the fabric and the bodice is so interesting.

Yara Shahidi in Ralph Lauren BOOM! Best dressed for me so far! I love an elegant pant for evening as it’s so refreshing and chic.

Reese Witherspoon Fabulous color! Great trick to elongate the figure by using the chevron pattern. I LOVE IT!

Nicole Kidman in Armani Prive BOOM! She slaying it! She really cannot do any wrong!

Samira Wiley in Tadashi Shoji She needs something to enhance the waist. Like a black velvet sash or belt perhaps. I love the material but theres something missing?

HUGS,
RAJO!
